Choosing a nursing college is a decision a family makes once, usually without much to compare against. This checklist is the one we would give our own relatives — it applies to any college in Alephata, Junnar or Pune district, not just ours.
The Indian Nursing Council sets the national standard for nursing education. Without INC approval, the value of the qualification is in doubt. Ask directly, and ask to see it in writing.
In Maharashtra, MSBNPE affiliates nursing schools and conducts the examinations. Every affiliated institution has an institute code. Ask for it. Our code is 1635, and it is printed on the affiliation letters published on our Approvals page.
Approvals are granted year by year, and a letter for one academic year is not a letter for the next. A college that publishes its documents openly is easier to trust than one that describes them. We publish ours as full PDFs you can read on the site.
Nursing is learned at the bedside. Ask which hospital students are placed in, how far it is, and how rotations are arranged. Our clinical training partner is Unique Hospital Multi & Super Speciality at Alephata, so students train close to campus across multiple specialities.
The INC syllabus requires specific laboratories — anatomy, pre-clinical, nursing foundation, maternal and child health, nutrition. Ask to see them on a campus visit rather than in a brochure. Our labs are photographed on the gallery page, and visitors are welcome.
For students coming from surrounding villages, accommodation is often the deciding factor. Ask about hostel rooms, the library, mess arrangements and how students travel to clinical postings.
Ask a hard question — about eligibility, fees, or what happens if you fail a paper — and see whether you get a straight answer. It tells you a great deal about how the institution will treat you for the next three years.
